Dine off a colourful plate – a bright and cheerful approach to vitamins and minerals. When choosing fruit and vegetables think of putting a rainbow on your plate. The darker the colour the greater the antioxidant content.

Red: strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, red grapes, pomegranates, Green: broccoli, spinach, curly kale, watercress, broad beans
Blue/purple/black: blueberries, beetroot, prunes, raisins
Orange/yellow: carrots, oranges, dried apricot, garlic
